Bring the numbers into a one-on-one

Ask about your data in plain language, get a chart back, and put what you learn on the agenda — the number is the start of the conversation, not the verdict.

Once a dataset exists, the Data page gains an Ask about your data box. Ask the way you'd ask a colleague — “Who's trending down?”, “What happened to the last file I uploaded?”, “Compare Dan and Jared's revenue by week as a chart.” — and the analyst answers from your datasets, with a chart inline when one helps. Say the word and an answer becomes a target on a goal.

From a number to a conversation

  1. Notice it. A goal's metric target shows Off target and names who is below — or the analyst flags a trend.
  2. Look at the raw rows if you want to: click the dataset card to browse every measurement.
  3. Add it to the next one-on-one's agenda from the meeting page, and bring the chart.
  4. Capture what you learn as a coaching note or an action item. Reviews later resolve the goal from real records — your notes, the activity feed, the target's history — not from the number alone.

A target reading 31 against 40 is a prompt to ask a question, not a rating. The person carrying on-call since the team shrank, or the rep whose territory changed, shows up in the data before they say anything — which is exactly why it belongs in the one-on-one.
